6 WEEK SEMINAR

April 5 ~ May 14  2022

In April, 2022, a small group of professional creatives and select students will gather together purposed to cultivate personal intimacy with Christ,

inspire one another, and release skill based insights to online participants.

What will be like? How about a taste? Join us for a brief  sample class. This is a great chance to meet some of the instructors, and gain insight & inspiration along the way. Be prepared to be challenged. It might change your life.

Align your heart, vision, and skill

We are seeking wholistic transformation. This is not just another art class. This is a journey within a creative community aligning with the purposes of Heaven. We are joining our collective years of experience to release a new corporate way of learning and growing together.
We will reflect on the following questions:

  • CO-CREATE

What does it look like to partner with God throughout the process?

How do we create from a a place of relationship?

  • HEAR & SEE

What are different ways God guides us in our our creativity?

Share your stories of inspiration.

  • CONQUER FEAR

What are the common enemies of the artist?

How do we mature into victory?

  • GLORIFY GOD

What lessons have you learned on humility and worship?

How do we let go and sacrifice the gift on the alter?

How do we determine if our message accurately reflects the heart of God?

  • INFLUENCE CULTURE

In what ways can art create a sacred space within a secular world?

How can we encourage viewers to encounter God's presence?

Is the message clear, and does it engage your audience?

She staffed Schools of Cartooning & Illustration, & led the School of Illustration & Internships for 18 years.  She has taught  in Kenya, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, & Armenia.  Her love of cultures & their diversity led her to do many portraits of indigenous people.

Karen is passionate about equipping Artists to pursue their calling, & develop artistic abilities as visual communicators.

Mauricio Palacio

Mauricio Palacio imparts truth & justice through his art. In 1997, while working with refugees in Bosnia, the subject of reconciliation became a focus. Since then Mauricio has held multiple exhibitions depicting ethnic division and intolerance.

His experiences in Yugoslavia, Angola, Kenya, & other troubled parts of the world have given him a passion to impart truth to younger generations. His international missionary experience continues to open new doors for reconciliation around the world.

Mauricio uses his artistic gifts to challenge views & beliefs in order to influence positive change.

Vicki Rhoner

Vicki Penney-Rohner has been teaching in the School of Illustration at YWAM in Hawai'i for over 20 years. She writes grants to teach in the public schools & is the resident artist at the Fairmont Orchid Resort.

She calls Kona her home, but also travels & teaches on Prayer in the UK, the EU & Brazil. Vicki shares that praying & declaring Abba's word in the earth is the greatest expression of Exodus 31—the creative spirit given to Bezaleel.

We are called to express His creativity & reveal Him in our artwork as well.

Graham Fleming

After receiving a prophetic word about developing a new artistic style, Graham journeyed seven years to discover a movement he entitles “Transcendent Quilts”. During a time of teaching at the School of Illustration, Graham painted a large image—composed of blocks of color. He then blended elements of abstract & illustrative into new media paintings by digitally stitching traditional paintings and photographs together. Graham looks forward to sharing techniques and drawing out the purposes of God from each artist.

Rick Luth

Rick grew up on a pig farm, in Canada, with a love for animals & drawing. After pursuing a degree in art education at the University of British Columbia, his career as an art teacher opened up in Canada, the USA, as well as Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, & Cambodia. He made this journey along with his wife Becky, & their 4 sons.

Rick uses art to reach people with “the news of the FULLEST life.” He serves as an illustrator, teacher, & curriculum designer with CREATE Seeds as well as staffing the School of Illustration.

Tricia & Stephen Preston

Stephen & Tricia are a husband & wife team,

From a small town in Ontario,

   they started to dream,

Of a Funtastical world filled with laughter & fun,

And colours and sounds there for everyone.

They’ve focused on stories & music & art,

And reading in schools, to encourage the heart,

Awakening dreams that are deep down inside,

Releasing the vision through art, song, & rhyme.
